A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR RECREATION CLASS AND
PROGRAM FEES, WATER USER FEES AND LIBRARY FEES IN ACCORDANCE WITH
EAGLE CITY CODE AND INCORPORATING THE UPDATED FEES INTO A COMBINED
FEE SCHEDULE FOR CITY FEES IN ACCORDANCE WITH EAGLE CITY CODE AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, public notice for a public hearing for fees has been published in the Idaho
Statesman as required by Idaho Code for fee increases in excess of five percent (5%); and
WHEREAS, the City Council duly noticed public hearing on September 10, 2019 and
September 17, 2019 for fee increases that are in excess of five percent (5%) of the amount of the
fee last collected and the decision to impose new fees previously not collected by the City;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Eagle is authorized by Sections 6- 5- 9 and
6-5-24, Eagle City Code, to establish water user charges for the City of Eagle water system; and
WHEREAS, the water user charges set forth herein are reasonable and reflect, as closely
as reasonably possible, the costs associated with the actual operation, expansion, maintenance,
replacement, financing expenses and the total water usage pertaining to the City's water system
pursuant to Sections 6- 5-9 and 6- 5- 24, Eagle City Code; and
WHEREAS, the proposed water user charges for the City of Eagle water system are
recommended to be increased less than five percent (5%); and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing for said fees on September 24, 2019;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that good cause exists for updating the
Recreation and Library fees; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO:
Section 1: That the newly established fee schedule for city fees with altered text shown with
underline and strikethrough attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this
reference, is hereby approved;
Section 2: That the Mayor and City Council are hereby authorized to execute said schedules for
and on behalf of the City of Eagle;
Section 4: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption and
approval.

CITY OF EAGLE
In accordance with Idaho State Code 63-1311 A legal notice is hereby given that the EAGLE CITY
COUNCIL will hold a public hearing on September 24, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at Eagle City Hall, 660 E.
Civic Lane, Eagle, Idaho. The purpose of the hearing is to consider adopting a new fee schedule
associated with Community event applications. The proposed fee schedule is as follows:

Public testimony is encouraged at the public hearing. WRITTEN COMMENTS must be submitted no
less than five (5) working days prior to the day on which the public hearing is scheduled, to Eagle
City Hall 660 E. Civic Lane Eagle, Idaho 83616. Qualified individuals who need accessible
communication aids and services or other accommodations to participate in programs and activities
are invited to make your needs and preferences know to the 504/ADA Coordinator (Eagle City
Clerk), 208-939-6813. Please allow three to five days advanced notice so that your needs may be
adequately met.
