THIS TASK ORDER, entered into between the City of Eagle, hereinafter referred to as EAGLE, and
HECO Engineers (Holladay Engineering), City Engineer, hereinafter referred to as RECO, is subject to
the provisions of the Agreement for Engineering Services, City Engineering Services dated October 27,
2010, hereinafter referred to as the AGREEMENT.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, EAGLE intends to have HECO undertake work as follows:
Prepare Plans, Specifications, and Bid Documents for the construction of a water main extension
complete with valves, hydrants, fittings, and surface repair for the following sections, otherwise
known as the Project:
1. 16 -inch main on Old Horseshoe Bend Road between Campsite Lane and State Highway 55
near W. Janie Road.
2. Bore and install steel casing and 16 -inch main across State Highway 55 near W. Janie Road to
terminate in the area near the City Entrance sign on the west side of State Highway 55.
Obtain required construction approvals from Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, Ada
County Highway District, Idaho Transportation Department and additional agencies having
jurisdiction within the construction area.
Project scope of engineering services include assisting with agency permitting, design, plan
preparation, topographic mapping, right-of-way determination, preparing a bid advertisement for
City publication, responding to bidders' questions, attending bid opening, evaluating bids received,
attending a preconstruction meeting, and providing support services during construction (payment
applications, change orders, record drawings).
All on-site construction observation and construction meetings will be available as additional services
if requested.
CITY OF EAGLE INFORMATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EAGLE will provide to HECO the data and/or services specified in the AGREEMENT. EAGLE will
perform a review of plans, assist with permitting as required, pay agency fees associated with

permitting and/or license agreements, construction observations, submittal reviews, and provide
facilities for meetings as required to administer the Project.
EAGLE shall be represented by Ken Acuff, Water Department Superintendent.
SCHEDULE OF SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED:
HECO will perform said services within 240 calendar days of the date of this TASK ORDER.
FEES AND BILLING SCHEDULE:
EAGLE will pay HECO for services on the basis of:
A Lump Sum amount of $45,800.00 (Forty-five thousand, eight hundred dollars).
