ADDENDUM NO. 4 TO AGREEMENT FOR
CITY PROSECUTOR/CRIMINAL LEGAL SERVICES
This Addendum No. 4 is entered into the 25th day of September 2018, by and between
the City of Eagle (hereinafter "Eagle") and the City of Boise (hereinafter "Boise") for the purpose of
amending and extending the Agreement for City Prosecutor/Criminal Legal Services dated October 21,
2014.
Whereas, on October 21, 2014, Eagle and Boise entered into an Agreement for Boise to provide
certain prosecutorial services to Eagle; and
Whereas, Eagle and Boise desire to modify certain teiiiis of the Agreement related to the amount
of payment; and
Whereas, Eagle and Boise desire to extend the Agreement as modified for an additional one (1)
year term.
Now therefore, in consideration of the foregoing, Eagle and Boise agree to amend that certain
Agreement for City Prosecutor/Criminal Legal Services dated October 21, 2014 as follows:
1. That Section 4 of the Agreement is hereby modified to read as follows:
4. PAYMENT FOR SERVICES. Eagle agrees to pay Boise for the services rendered pursuant to
the terms of this Agreement as follows:
4.1.1 As compensation for all prosecutor/criminal legal services, Eagle shall pay Boise the total
sum of five thousand five hundred dollars and 46/lOOths dollars ($5,500.46)
per month, for an annual total cost of sixty-six thousand five dollars and 49/lOOths
($66,005.49), which is inclusive of all expenses incurred by Boise in performing prosecution
services.
4.1.2 Payment of Primary Legal Services shall be paid by Eagle to Boise on or before the
20th day of the following month.
2. That Section 9 of the Agreement is hereby modified to read as follows:
POSSIBLE EXTENSION OF TERM OF AGREEMENT: The parties mutually agree to
extend the term of this Agreement, as provided in the Contract Extension FY — 2019,
attached hereto as Exhibit B.
3. Except as modified by this Addendum No. 4, the original Agreement for the City Prosecutor/Criminal
Legal Services between the City of Eagle and the City of Boise dated October 21, 2014, shall remain
in full force and effect.

Beginning October 1, 2019, the City of Eagle will be contracting with Ada County for prosecution services within
the city limits. Please accept this letter as the notice of termination required in paragraph 8 of the City of Eagle
Agreement for Legal Services.
The city appreciates the efforts put forth by the Boise City Attorney's Office since 2017. The city values the
service provided by the City of Boise and the relationship that our cities have built over the years.
