Minutes - 2019 - City Council - 07/02/2019 - SpecialEAGLE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES July 2, 2019 1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Ridgeway calls the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL: Present: GOLD, PITTMAN, MITCHELL. Absent: BASTIAN. A quorum is present. 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mayor Ridgeway leads the Pledge of Allegiance. 4. PUBLIC HEARING: • Public Hearings are legally noticed hearings required by state law. The public may provide formal testimony regarding the application or issue before the City Council. This testimony will become part of the hearing record for that application or matter. • Disclosure of ex parte and/or conflict of interest. A. Declaration of Intent to Sell Real Pro er . Parcel # 82024420075 also known as the Eagle Museum located at 67 E. State Street. Mayor introduces the issue. Mayor opens the Public Hearing. No one chooses to speak. Mayor closes the Public Hearing. City Attorney Villegas provides procedural direction. 5. NEW BUSINESS: A. ACTION ITEM: Ordinance No. 818: Purchase and Sale agreement for Parcel #82024420075 also known as the Eagle Museum located at 67 E. State Street. Mayor introduces the issue. Pittman moves, pursuant to Idaho Code, Section 50-902, that the rule requiring Ordinances to be read on three different days with one reading to bin full be dispensed with, and that Ordinance #818 be considered after being read once by title only. Seconded by Gold . ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIES.. .............. Pittman moves that Ordinance #818 be adopted. Pittman reads the title of the ordinance into the record. An Ordinance Approving The Sale And Conveyance Of Real Property Owned By The City Of Eagle And Located At 67 East State Street, Eagle, Ada County, Idaho To The Urban Renewal Agency Of Eagle City, Idaho, Also Known As The Eagle Urban Renewal Agency, A Tax Supported Governmental Unit; Reaffirming The Real Property Owned By The City Will Be Underutilized And Not Be Used For Public Purposes; Providing An Effective Date; Providing A Severability Clause; nd Providing For A Waiver Of The Reading Rules .
