1. CALL TO ORDER: 6:00pm
2. ROLL CALL: MORTENSEN present, HYER present, THAEMERT present, ROGERS
absent, SOELBERG present.
3. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
4. CONSENT AGENDA:
• Minutes of April 17, 2019.
• Approval of Bills.
• Homebound Delivery Service Policy.
• Guest Use of Library Telephone Policy.
Hyer moved to approve the consent agenda. Thaemert seconded. All approved, motion
passed.
5. REPORTS
a. Director's Report
Mr. Bumgarner presented to the board that circulation continues to increase and
the eggs hatched. He also provided a "getting to know you" presentation since
none of the members were on the board when he was hired.
b. Library Liaison / City Hall Reports
Council member Mitchel suggested a board member should present to the city
council on summer reading plans for the library.
c. ICfL Trustee Connection (NH)
A work session will be scheduled at the next meeting to discuss all the
information from the ICfL Trustee Connection.
6. OLD BUSINESS
a. Fiscal Year 2019/2020 Budget
Mr. Bumgarner presented the proposed FYI 9/20 budget. There were some minor
changes when there were enough year end savings to pay for technology and
furniture updates initially proposed for the FY20 budget.
Soelberg moved to approve the proposed budget as discussed. Hyer seconded. All
approved, motion passed.

9. ADJOURNMENT: Thaemert moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:10. Hyer seconded. All
approved, meeting adjourned.
