Special Meeting Minutes
May 17, 2019
1. CALL TO ORDER: Council President Gold calls the meeting to order at 3:50 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: BASTIAN, GOLD, PITTMAN, MITCHELL. Mitchell is absent.
A quorum is present. The Mayor is present by telephone conference call.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Council President Gold leads the Pledge of
Allegiance.
4. EXECUTIVE; SESSION:
A. 74-206. Executive sessions Acquire interest in a real property. When authorized.
:effective until July 1, 2020_ (1) An executive session at which members of the public are
excluded may be held, but only for the purposes and only in the manner set forth in this
section. The motion to go into executive session shall identify the specific subsections of
this section that authorize the executive session. There shall be a roll call vote on the
motion and the vote shall be recorded in the minutes. An executive session shall be
authorized by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the governing body. An executive session maybe
held:
(c) To acquire an interest in real property which is not owned by a public agency.
Council President Gold introduces the issue.
Bastian moves to go into Executive Session in accordance pursuant 74-206(c) To
acquire ainterin real property. Seconded by Gold. Seconded by Pittman.
Bastian: AYE; Gold: AYE; Pittman: AYE; ALL AYES: MOTION
CARRIES....

Council goes into Executive Session at 3:47 p.m.
Council discusses acquiring an interest in real property.
Council leaves Executive Session at 4:35 p.m.
5. ACTION ITEM:
A. Acquisition of real property not owned by another public agency identified as parcel
no. 85748000060 and parcel no. 85748000034.
Council President Gold introduces the issue.
Pittman moves to submit an offer for the purchase of parcel property numbers
85748000060 and parcel no. 85748000034. Bastian: AYE; Gold: AYE; Pittman:
AYE: ALL AVES: MOTION CARRIES............

Pittman moves to offer a Sales and Purchase Agreement to the seller for the
acquisition of real property not owned by any other public agency identified as
parcel no. R5748000060 and parcel no. R5748000034. Seconded by Bastian.

CARRIES
6. ADJOURNMENT:
Bastian moves to adjourn. Seconded by Pittman. ALL AYES: MOTION
CARRIES
