MEETING MINUTES
July 15, 2026
1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mayor Pike leads the Pledge of Allegiance.
2. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Pike calls the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
3. ROLL CALL: Present: GILLIS, KVAMME, MAY MERRILL. A quorum is present.
4. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
5. BUDGET DISCUSSIONS:
A. General Budget Discussions. (LL)
City Treasurer provides a balanced budget to Council and requests decisions on COLAS,
police contract, and property taxes.
General discussion amongst the Council regarding the budget. Council agrees to take the full
3% and foregone -in addition to a 3% COLA for City employees. Continued discussion
regarding the police contract.
6. BUDGET CONSIDERATIONS:
A. ACTION ITEM: Tentative Approval of the Fiscal Year 2026/2027 Proposed Budget for
Publication. (LL)
No action taken.
7. ADJOURNMENT:
May moves to adjourn. Seconded by Kvamme. ALL AYE ... MOTION CARRIES.
