MEETING MINUTES
June 2, 2026
1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mayor Pike leads the Pledge of Allegiance.
2. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Pike calls the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
3. ROLL CALL: Present: GILLIS, KVAMME, MAY MERRILL. A quorum is present.
4. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
5. BUDGET CONSIDERATIONS: Presentation and discussion regarding proposed
Departmental/Division budgets. Order of presentations are subject to change.
City Treasurer, Lori Waldmer Lord, provides an overview of the budget workshops.
Library — Library Director Steve Bumgarner provides an overview of the budget and stands for
questions. This budget has not yet been approved by the Library Board, therefore he may have to
bring back changes to Council if the Board request changes. Director Bumgarner reviews the
proposed budget. Discussion.
Development Services - Planning and Zoning: Director of Development Services, Bill Vaughan
provides an overview of the budget and stands for questions. Discussion
Development Services — Building: Building Official, Steve Nash provides an overview of the
budget and stands for questions. Discussion.
Clerk/Treasurer — City Clerk Tracy Osborn and City Treasurer, Lori Waldemer Lord review
provide an overview of the budget and stands for questions. Discussion.
Executive — Mayor Brad Pike provides an overview of the budget. Discussion.
Museum — Museum Director, Alana Dunn provides an overview of the budget and stands for
questions. Discussion.
Recreation — Director of Community Relations & Recreation Brian Allen provides an overview of
the budget and stands for questions. Discussion.
IT — Director Devonte Goodman provides an overview of the budget and stands for questions.
Discussion.
Public Works - Facilities & Landscaping Division: Director Eric Ziegenfuss provides an
overview of the budget and stands for questions. Discussion.
