EAGLE PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
MINUTES
Eagle City Hall, 660 E. Civic Lane, Idaho
May 20, 2026 6:00 PM
1. CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 6:00 pm by Almon.
2. ROLL CALL: ALMON, MOORE, MACOMBER, DEROEST.
Roll Call: Almon, Moore, Macomber, DeRoest all present.
3. ACTION ITEM- ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE AGENDA
No changes to the agenda were submitted.
4. CONSENT AGENDA: ALL CONSENTAGENDA ITEMS ARE CONSIDERED ACTION ITEMS.
A. Approval of Bills
B. Minutes of March 18, 2026
DeRoest made a motion to accept the consent agenda and the March 18 minutes and Macomber seconded. Motion
passed unanimously.
5. PUBLIC COMMENT:
No public comment.
6. REPORTS:
A. Staff
A member of the library staff was present, but no report was given.
B. Trustees
Macomber reported that the Friends of the Eagle Public Library had a great book sale. The Friends are
working with Steve to get the new signage up in the library.
C. Council Liaison
Councilman Robert Gillis reported that the City Council is currently working on the budget. Almon asked if a
member of the Library Board was needed to work with the Council on library matters. The Board will work with
the library director on matter related to the library.
D. Eagle Public Library Foundation
Not present
E. Friends of the Eagle Public Library
Robert Gillis reported that the City Council is currently working on the budget. Almon asked if a member of
the Library Board was needed to work with the Council on library matters. The Board will work with Steve on
matters related to the library.
7. ADJOURNMENT
DeRoest made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Moore seconded. Motion passed unanimously. Meeting
adjourned at 6:16 pm.
