A RESOLUTION OF THE EAGLE CITY COUNCIL TO VACATE A PORTION OF PLAT NOTE #6
OF THE SOARING FEATHER RANCH SUBDIVISION FINAL PLAT TO REMOVE LOT 5, BLOCK
1, AS SHOWN ON THE ATTACHMENT HERETO, THUS EXCLUDING THE LOT FROM THE
OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SOARING FEATHER RANCH
SUBDIVISION HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Woodbridge Pacific Group requested to vacate a portion of plat note #6 of the
Soaring Feather Ranch Subdivision final plat to remove Lot 5, Block 1, thus excluding the lot from the
ownership and maintenance responsibilities of the Soaring Feather Ranch Subdivision Homeowners
Association; and
WHEREAS, On April 6, 2026, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of
the vacation (VAC-2026-02), to the Council; and
WHEREAS, Legal notice of the City Council hearing on the vacation was published in the Idaho
Statesman on April 10, 2026, and April 12, 2026; and
WHEREAS, On April 28, 2026, the City Council held a public hearing on the proposed vacation
(VAC-2026-02), and voted to approve the vacation; and
WHEREAS, The City Council hereby finds that the proposed vacation complies with the
provisions of Section 50-1306A of the Idaho Code, "Vacation of Plats - Procedure", and Section 9-6-2 of
Eagle City Code, "Vacations and Dedications".
WHEREAS, On March 31, 2026, the City received a letter from the Soaring Feather Ranch
Subdivision Homeowners Association approving the request to relinquish ownership and maintenance
responsibilities from Lot 5, Block 1, of the Soaring Feather Ranch Subdivision, and accepting the
removal of the blanket easement over the lot as noted in plat note #6.
WHEREAS, On April 7, 2026, the City received a recorded amendment to the covenants,
conditions, and restrictions for Soaring Feather Ranch Subdivision which made the Declaration
inapplicable to Lot 5, Block 1.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EAGLE, IDAHO.
The Eagle City Council hereby vacates a portion of plat note #6 of the Soaring Feather Ranch
Subdivision final plat (Exhibit "A") to remove Lot 5, Block 1, from plat note #6, thus excluding the lot
from the ownership and maintenance responsibilities of the Soaring Feather Ranch Subdivision
Homeowners Association, as considered, heard and approved by the Council at its April 28, 2026, public
hearing for application number VAC-2026-02, and as shown on the attachments hereto.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption and approval.
