EAGLE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
MINUTES OF THE JUNE 5, 1989 MEETING
The Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session
on June 5, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. Chairman WATSON presiding.
Roll call showed the following members present:
TEWKSBURY.
EASON, SINCLAIR,
Motion by TEWKSBURY and seconded by SINCLAIR to approve the
minutes of the May 15, 1989 meeting. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Discussion on Ada County Title 8 its effects on the Eagle Urban
Services Planning Area boundaries and densities. Motion by
SINCLAIR and seconded by EASON to add Title 8 and Eagle Urban
Services Planning Area discussion to the agenda for June 19, and
to ask the Zoning Administrator to provide pertinent background
information. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
NEW BUSINESS:
Ada County Transmittal 89-25-CU/Custer: a request to allow a
private accessory/storage building to exceed 900 sq. ft. Moved
by TEWKSBURY and seconded by SINCLAIR to recommend approval to
council provided the building is used only as a private storage
building and not a commercial venture. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Ada County Transmittal 89-03-PR/Macaw: a request for a private
road to provide access to a 15 acre parcel in the event that the
parcel becomes eligible for a residence. Moved by EASON and
seconded by SINCLAIR to recommend approval to council conditioned
upon the private road serving only one single family dwelling on
the 15 acre parcel. Such private road is not to be deemed
acceptable to service a subdivision. AYE: EASON, SINCLAIR.
ABSTAINED: TEWKSBURY. MOTION CARRIED.
Ada County Transmittal 89-14-ZC/Kunkler: a request for a rezone
from AP-2 to R1, and for a private road to provide access to one
single family dwelling. Ron Sedlacek answered questions from the
Commissioners regarding location of property and road and
easement requirements. Moved by SINCLAIR and seconded by
TEWKSBURY to recommend approval to council conditioned upon the
private road serving only one single family dwelling. Such
private road is not to be deemed acceptable to service a
subdivision. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Discussion of a replacement for LaWana Nyborg on the Commission.
EASON suggested Mr. Logan G. Bennett, 639 Palmetto, be
recommended to the Mayor and Council as a possible candidate for
appointment.

Moved by TEWKSBURY and seconded by SINCLAIR to hold the regularly
scheduled Planning and Zoning meeting on June 19, to hold a
special meeting on June 26, and to skip the July 3 meeting, and
to continue the District Regulation definitions at the June 19
meeting. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by SINCLAIR to adjourn th~ meeting.
