EAGLE PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING
FEBRUARY 6, 1989
The Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session
on February 6, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. Chairman WATSON presiding.
Roll call showed the following members present:
SINCLAIR, NYBORG, EASON. Absent: RUTLEDGE.
WATSON,
Moved by NYBORG and seconded by SINCLAIR to approve the minutes
of the January 6, 1989 meeting as written. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIED.
PUBLIC HEARING:
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENTS 1989: Chairman WATSON declared
that it was the time and the place for a public hearing regarding
the proposed changes to the 1988 plan. There was no public
discussion and the public hearing was closed.
Discussion resulted in a motion made by EASON and seconded by
SINCLAIR to recommend the amendments previously adopted and the
following additional amendments to the City Council:
1. TRANSPORTATION POLICIES AND GOALS: Page 9, No. 12 to read"
Developers of property located adjacent to arterial highways and
State Street, should be responsible for providing means for
internal traffic circulation and assuring access to adjacent
properties through the use of such devices as frontage or
collector roads, clustering of development activities, shared
access, setbacks for future rights-of-way, and provisions for
turn bays, and turn lanes, and curb cuts. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIED.
CHD ORDINANCE: Moved by EASON and seconded by Sinclair to table
under such time as Title 8 is amended to include the ordinance.
ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
TITLE 8: Will be reviewed prior to the next meeting by the City
Clerk and WATSON.
Motion to adjourn by NYBORG and seconded by EASON.
