A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULE
FOR SOLID WASTE COLLECTION SERVICES, PURSUANT TO THE FRANCHISE
AGREEMENT FOR THE COLLECTION, HAULING AND DISPOSAL OF MUNICIPAL
SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DEMOLITION WASTE AS STATED IN SECTION 9
"RATE ADJUSTMENTS", SUBSECTION B "DISPOSAL AND GOVERNMENTAL FEE
COST ADJUSTMENTS" AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 9 "Rate Adjustments", subsection B "Disposal and Governmental Fee
Cost Adjustments" of the Exclusive Franchise Agreement for the Collection, Hauling and Disposal
of municipal solid waste and construction and demolition waste between the City of Eagle and
Hardin Sanitation provides that the hauler may request increases to pass through documented
increases in disposal fees; and
WHEREAS, Ada County Landfill has provided notice that they will be increasing fees for
landfill general trash ("municipal solid waste") disposal from $32 per ton to $33 per ton effective
October 1, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the impact on existing solid waste service fees will result in an increase less
than 5%.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO:
Section 1: That the following increase in garbage collection service fees are hereby adopted:
See Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein as if stated in full
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force nun pro tunc October 1, 2025.
ADOPTED by the Eagle City Council, Eagle Idaho.
