Ordinance - 2025 - 949 - Amending Title 10 "Flood Control" Ch. 1, Sect 8-6 "Specific Standards" - 07/22/2025ORDINANCE NO.949 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY IDAHO, AMENDING TITLE 10 "FLOOD CONTROL", CHAPTER 1 "FLOOD CONTROL REGULATIONS", SECTION 8-6 "SPECIFIC STANDARDS"; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Residential Construction: 1. New construction and substantial improvement of any residential structure (including manufactured homes) shall have a the lowest finished floor elevated no lower than the flood protection elevation, as defined in section 10-1-5, and the lowest floor, including basement and crawl space, shall be elevated to a minimum of one foot (1 t) above the base flood elevation. 5. Mechanical and Other Service Equipment: a. All mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other service equipment servicing residential structures, including manufactured homes, shall be elevated to a minimum of one foot (F) above the base flood elevation (BFE). This includes, but is not limited to, HVAC systems, furnaces, hot water heaters, and electrical panels. C. Manufactured Homes: a. New, substantially damaged, substantiallyproved, and replacement manufactured homes shall be elevated so that the lowest floor of the manufactured home, including the basement, and all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other service equipment, are i-s no lower than the flood protection elevation, as defined in section 10-1-5.
