PARKS, PATHWAYS AND RECREATION COMMISSION

(I). May 15, 2025, 5:30 p.m.
1. CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 5:30 P.M.
2. ROLL CALL: DOMENE, FAUSTINA, HUFFAKER, HINEY, IVIE, LEWIS, MORRISON
Absent: Faustina
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A. Minutes of April 17, 2025
Commissioner Huffaker makes a motion that we approve the minutes but with an
amendment that the recommendation of this commission was to have the city council
adopt the recommendation that was somewhat over the actual budgeted amount as our
first choice, whatever that amount was, but I don't remember the exact amount.
Commissioner Huffaker, my motion would be to approve the minutes as they are with the
single amendment of our recommendation to the council was to approve our first choice,
was to approve that more expensive project that was put forth by Eric and that we
approved as the first choice even though it was over budget for what they had
recommended. Seconded by Commissioner Ivie. ALL AYES ... MOTION CARRIES.
4. PUBLIC COMMENT:

5. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Claire Smarta 4466 N Waterfront Way Boise — Proposing Sintra Subdivision
A. Andrew Glaspell with Eagle Planning & Zoning — Presented Sintra Subdivision
Commissioner Morrison makes a motion to forward the recommended conditions for approval
contained in this staff report for Action Item A to city council recommending approval. Seconded
by Commissioner Lewis. ALL AYES ... MOTION CARRIES.
B. Steve Arnold with A Team Land Consultants, 1785 Whisper Cove Ave Boise — Presented on Flicker
Subdivision.
B. Andrew Glaspell with Eagle Planning & Zoning presented on Flicker Subdivision.
Chairman Huffaker makes a motion that we approve and submit to Planning & Zoning and also to city
council the staff recommendations with the inclusion of condition 22 as presented tonight. Seconded
by Commissioner Domene. ALL AYES ... MOTION CARRIES.
6. ADJOURNMENT:
