A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO REPEALING RESOLUTION 02-12,
ENACTING A NEW RESOLUTION ADDRESSING MUNICIPAL PARK HOURS;
ADDRESSING GROUNDS FOR REMOVAL FROM PARK AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Resolution 02-12 was adopted August 13, 2002; and
WHEREAS, reservation software and the municipal park system have drastically
improved and expanded over the course of the past twenty-three years; and
12; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has amended reservation fees subsequent to Resolution 02-
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Mayor and Council, to ensure facility availability for
community use, while also prioritizing public safety;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Eagle,
Idaho as follows:
Section 1 PARK HOURS:
A. Municipal park hours shall be dawn to dusk, unless otherwise posted within the park.
B. Municipal Park hours may be extended in conjunction with a city issued permit.
C. The City reserves the right to alter park hours either with or without notice.
Section 2 REMOVAL FROM PARK:
Individuals who remain within the municipal park outside of posted hours shall be directed, by a
City employee, City designee or law enforcement official, to depart the park immediately.
Should the parties refuse to leave the park they shall be removed by the City employee, City
designee or law enforcement official and may be cited for disorderly conduct.
Section 3 That this resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon adoption.
