A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, AMENDING THE PARKING
IN -LIEU FEE PROVIDED IN EAGLE CITY CODE SECTION 8-4-4-5; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS public notice for a public hearing for a fee increase has been published in the
Idaho Statesman as required by Idaho Code; and
WHEREAS the City Council duly noticed and held a public hearing on new or increased
fees and that are in excess of five percent (5%) of the amount of the fee last collected; and
WHEREAS the City Council has determined that good cause exists for updating the
Parking In -Lieu Fee to provided assurances that adequate parking will be provided with the City;
WHEREAS Eagle City Code Section 8-4-4-5 states that the Parking In -Lieu fee shall be
$5,700 per space, or such sum as may be adopted by resolution of the City Council.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO:
Section 1: That the newly established parking in -lieu fee shall be eighteen thousand dollars
($18,000.00) per parking space.
Section 2: That the Mayor and City Council are hereby authorized to execute said fee for and
on behalf of the City of Eagle.
Section 3: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption and
approval.
