BOX 477 - EAGLE, IDAHO 83616 - PHONE 939-0431 June 6, 1978 The regular meeting of the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order at 7:30 P. M. by Chairperson Sharp on June 6, 1978. AMELL was absent. WALKER was excused. Moved by SORENSON and seconded by BROWNLEE that the minutes of the previous meeting of May 2, 1978 be approved as read. Motion carried. An annexation request from Evans Lumber Company to annex a parcel of ground approximately 1/4 mile east of Eagle on the South side of Highway 44 was received. Moved by SORENSON and seconded by KUNKLER to hold a public hearing on the annexation at 7:30 P. M., July 5, 1978 at city hall. Motion carried. Bob Mather from Sun Real Estate requested the commission write a letter to the County Commissioners saying they have no objection to rezoning a piece of property east of Eagle to R-2MH. No action was taken by the commission. A letter of request from LB Properties was read requesting a change in the sideyard building setbacks from 7.5' per floor to 5' per floor or a 10' setback for two story. Moved by SORENSON and seconded by KUNKLER to recommend to the city council that they do not change the zoning ordinance concerning sideyard setbacks. Motion carried. A subdivision committee meeting to review Eagle Village #3 and Hayes Subdivision was set for 7:00 P. M. on June 20, 1978 at city hall. A letter of request was submitted from Bernard F. Gratton representing Farmers & Merchants State Bank to place a 60' X 14' mobile banking unit on a piece of property just west of the Sun Ray Dairy. Moved by SORENSON and seconded by ALLRED that the commission recommend approval to the city council based on the fact that it does conform with the mobile home ordinance. SORENSON, ALLRED, BROWNLEE AND STEPHENSON VOTED AYE. KUNKLER VOTED NAY. MENDIOLA ABSTAINED. Howard Venable was told he would need to make an application for a rezone to place a mobile home on his property which is currently zoned R-5. EAGLE PLANNING & ZONING P. 0.
