The regular meeting of the Eagle City(ounci1Jwas /tic -

called to order by Chairman Cole at 7:00 P. M. November
2, 1976.
Tadlock and Cullen were excused.
Marvin Adams made a motion that the minutes of the
previous meeting be approved as read. Sharon Sharp
seconded the motion.
A public hearing was held by the commission on the
Eagle East and Eagle West Annexation. Andy Pollard
made a motion that the planning and zoning commission
accept the zoning for the proposed annexation of Eagle
East and Eagle West for the City of Eagle with the
exception of Eagle Hills Phase 1 and Eagle Hills Phase
2, which are to be zoned R5. Ron Zior seconded the
motion. The vote was three in favor and four opposed.
Motion died.
Andy Pollard made a motion that the planning and
zoning commission accept the zoning for the proposed
annexation of Eagle East and Eagle West for the City
of Eagle with the exception of Eagle Hills Phase 2
which is to be zoned R1 instead of agriculture as
previously stated. Sharon Sharp seconded the motion.
Mike Preston and Larry Sales from J. U. B.
Engineers representing Littletree Corporation approached
the commission with a request to annex 200 acres on
the N. E. corner of Floating Feather and Eagle Road.
They were advised to submit a formal written request
to the city council and planning and zoning commission.
Tim Rutledge from Bella Villa Realty requested the
commission to waiver the regulations of the zoning
ordinance and allow his builder to build on a lot in
Eagle Ranch without meeting the setback requirements
defined therein. Mr. Rutledge was advised that the
only way this could be handled was through a variance,
but that the commission together with the building
inspector would review the setback requirements.
A public hearing for DeShazo Rezone Application was
set for Tuesday, December 7, 1976 at 7:00 P. M.
There being no further business to come before the
(council) the meeting was adjourned.
