Minutes - 1976 - Planning & Zoning - 08/03/1976 - RegularTuesday, August 3, 1976 The regular meeting of the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order by Chairman Mick Cole at 7:00 P. M. on Tuesday. August 3, 1976. The absences of House and Cullen were excused. Ron Zior was absent. Marion Tadlock made a motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as read. Marvin Adams seconded the motion. A public hearing was held on a conditional use application presented by Sherman Douglas Crisp to operate an auto sales and auto repair in a commercial tone of Gem Auto Shop. Cliff Stephenson made a motion to deny a conditional use to Mr. Crisp because this type of business does not comply with Eagle Zoning Ordinance for a C district. This business would fit into the CA Zoning for the City of Eagle. Marvin Adams seconded the motion. Andy Pollard abstained because of a conflict of interest. Motion carried. Chairman Cole informed Mr. Crisp that he could appeal this decision to the City Council. Mike Frost from the State Planning Commission talked with the commission on conformance with Senate Bill 1094. Assignments were reviewed in reguarda to this senate bill, and the asaignemant of economic development was changed from Sharon Sharp to Andy Pollard. These assignments should be ready for review for the September meeting. A feasability study of a bicycle path between Eagle School and Downing Downs will be done by the transportation committee with the help of Cliff Stephenson and Andy Pollard. There being no further business to come before the commission, the meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P. M. Chairman Clerk
