The regular meeting of the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission
was brought to order by acting chairman Cliff Stevenson at
7100 P. M. June 1. 1976.
Helen House had an excused absence. Tadlock and Pollard were
absent without excuses.
The minutes of the previous meeting.were approved as printed,
Ken Marima and Larry Leisure presented an application for
a residential subdivision on the House property. A public
hearing was held. Mick Cole made a motion that the
application be returned to the subdivision committee for
further study. and a recommendation be made to the Planning
and Zoning Commission at the next meeting. Sharon Sharp
seconded the motion. It was noted in the minutes that
the application was incomplete at this time.
Mick Cole made a motion that the Planning and Zoning
Commission recommend to the City Council that the
procedure to install the signal at the intersection of
Highway 44 and 69 should be,
200' no parking strip on the East and Best of Highway 44.
Left turn lanes installed in both North and South sides
necessitating removal of the scales at Evans lumber company.
Florence Cullen seconded the motion. Cole voted aye -
all others nay. Motion died.
Mick Cole made a motion that the Planning and Zoning
Commission recommend to the City Council that the
procedure to install the signal at the intersection of
Highway 44 and 69 should be to channelize Highway 44
and 69 both with left turn lanes. Kathleen DeChambeau
seconded the motion.
Before the question Mick Cole amended his motion by
adding "A request will be submitted that pedestrian
signals also be installed with the stoplight. Sharon
Sharp seconded the motion. Motion carried with Marvin
Adams opposed.
Mike Bideganeta made a motion that the MID Committee
further study the zoning of the proposed annexation as
requested by the City Council. Marvin Adams seconded
the motion.
Mike Bideganeta made a motion that a special meeting be
called for June 22, 1976 at 8100 P. M. for the following
2 items,
Rezone application submitted by Robert DeShazo Builders,
and Eagle Village Subdivision.
Mike Bideganeta made a motion that the meeting be
adjourned at 9110 P. M. Mick Cole seconded the motion.
