CCornnission was called to order January 19, 197C at 7:'30
P. by 1ayor Dechard .
:ick Cole, Jon Brooks and Mike aide a.neta were
absent.
The minutes of the meeti n, of December 1. , 1975 .Dere
approved as read.
L:ayor Deckard Dresen ted certificates of appointment
to Florence Cullum and:Sharon Sharp who were appointed
by the .:ayor and Council to serve on the i fanning and
Zoning Commission for a term of 6 years.
Jim Prince Presented his intention to aquire a
piece of property between the two mobile home courts in
Eagle for the purpose of establishing an antique
classic automobile dealership. His request was sent to
committee for their recommendation.
Brown, architect for .:ells and .`;ells Investments
presented an application to construct an 8 unit apartment
complex in an R-5^ Zone Classification. :r. Tadlock made
a. motion to hold a »ubli c hearing for this cond i ti onal.

seconded the motion.
::right -Leasure presented an a•oplication for a
Vin. jor Impact Deveiormen_t to construct an "Eagle Town '
Country Village" consisting of a commercial s:ioppin._-
center containing retail sales, tanking, restaurant and
office uses on a parcel of 13+ acres located or, the
easterly edge of Eagle, Idaho approximately 1,000 feet
of frontage on State Highway 114. Kathleen DeCharnbeau made
a motion to hear this application February '7, 1 97' at
9:30 :T. ..:anion Tadlock seconded the motion.
A public hearing was held for the annexation of the
::arren Van Deusen property into the city limits. Several
Eagle residents spoke against the annexation. Doll
vote was takenand four people, Tadlock, DeChar: bea.0 ,
Cullen and Sharp voted to recommend denial to the City
Council. Helen house abstained.

Howard Friend, surveyor, presented an application

zone classification. This application will be heard

The Ada County Commissioners will be present at the
February meeting of the City Council to make their
presentation on the areaof impact for Eagle.
;:arion g ad lock made a motion to elect Don Brooks
as Chariman of the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission.
Florence Cullen seconded the motion.
There being no further business to come before the
commission, the meeting was ad ed at 3:4e, P.
