EAGLE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
August 18, 1975
The regular meeting of the Eagle Planning & Zoning
Commission was called to order by Acting Chairman Don G. Brooks
at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 1975.
The absence of Messrs. Tadlock, Deckard and Stephenson
was excused.
The minutes of the previous meeting were corrected to
reflect the excused absence of Mr. Barnes from the July 21, 1975,
meeting.
Mr. Rocknowski made a presentation in support of his
application for a conditional use permit and various citizens
presented their views in support of and against his application.
Those views were presented by Commission member Helen House
regarding traffic problems and Mr. Fleenor regarding noise
problems. Messrs. Morley and Edington favored the application
as an asset to the city.
Mrs. DeShazo moved that the Planning & Zoning Commission
recommend to the City Council approval of the application for a
conditional use permit by Mr. Rocknowski provided Mr. Rocknowski
does his best to keep dust under control. Mr. Barnes seconded
the motion. The motion carried by a vote of five in favor and
one against (Mrs. House).
The public hearing on the sign ordinance was held
pursuant to notice and this matter was discussed by the Commission.
Mr. Bideganeta moved that this matter be placed on the agenda for
the September 2, 1975, meeting to provide members time to consider
items from ACOG's critique of August 4, 1975, and evaluate those
items for possible incorporation into the ordinance. Mrs.
DeShazo seconded the motion and the motion was passed unanimously.
An announcement was made that on August 26, 1975,
a public meeting at the Northside Community Center concerning
sewage problems would be held.
Copies of Senate Bill 1094 were distributed. Mr. Barnes
moved that discussion of this matter be tabled. The motion was
seconded by Kathleen ME k,,, 4c , and unanimously carried.
Discussion was had concerning the Budget and it was
recommended that this item appear on each agenda until mid
December, 1975.
Mr. Bideganeta moved that the Commission place the item
of Forms and Applications on the agenda for the next meeting.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Barnes and unanimously carried.
Meeting adjourned.

This letter is to inform you of my resignation from the City of Eagle
Planning and Zoning Commission effective immediately.
I must appologize to the Commission for my poor attendance, but my
business interests do not leave much time for anything else.
I would be more than happy to act in an advisory capacity to the
Commission on anything I might be able to help you with.
