The..regular meeting of the Eagle Planning and Zoning
Commission was called to order by Chairman Cliff Stephenson
at 7:45 P. M. on Monday, August 4, 1975.
Emily DeShazo has an excused absence.
The minutes of the previous meeting were corrected to
read: Paragraph 10, Line 2 Delete council and insert
commission.
A re -zone application of Clarence Suiter was presented
to the members of the commission. It would involve the
property in front of the Eagle Glen Townhouses by adding
an additional 115' to the present 300' commercial zone
making a total of 415' depth. Mr. Suiter intends to
use this property for a grocery store.
Don Brooks moved that the first September meeting be
changed from September 1, 1975 to September 2, 1975 because
of the holiday. Michael Cole seconded the motion.
Don Brooks moved that the public hearing for the
Suiter rezone application be scheduled for September
2, 1975 at 7:30 P. M. at the Eagle City Hall. Cole
seconded the motion.
Ron Graafstra, Junior Planner (ACOG) reviewed the
proposed sign ordinance and a proposed filing system
for the Planning and Zoning Commission.
The Chairman directed the clerk to put together 2
more Planning and Zoning Books for new members Cole and
Bideganetta.
It was noted that there are now 2 seats open on the
commission, but a decision to wait for Attorney General's
reply on vacancy qualifications was made.
The commission members asked for 8 copies of
Senate Bill 1094 to be distributed among their members.
Mr. Brooks asked that budgeting be placed on the
agenda for the next meeting.
There being no further business to come before the
commission, the meeting was adjourned.
