BOX 477 • EAGLE, IDAHO 83616 July 21, 1975 The regular meeting of the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order by Chairman Cliff Stephenson at 7:45 P. M. on Monday, July 21, 1975. The absences of Helen House and Bideganeta were excused. An application was submitted by Ed R ochnowski for a conditional use permit to Qdaii-y` on commercial business in a shop beside his home. A public hearing date was set for August 18, 1975. Jerry Deckard moved to adopt the proposed amendment to Section 3-10 of the Eagle Zoning Ordinance and to repeal the existing section 3-10. Gary Barnes seconded the motion. DeShazo opposed. Brooks and Cole abstained. Motion carried. A public hearing will be held August 18, 1975. Emily DeShazo reported that Alan Giltzow will serve the commission in an advisory capacity. Larry Brown Application -- Option dropped on property. No need for further consideration. Glen Rhodes, outside city limits, has gone to county. Henke application answered by Building Inspector. Denied application for duplex due to density requirements for zoning. Tadlock reported that the Army Corps of Engineers will survey dry creek if need be. They are provoked by new law 1094. 1. Can individuals dwelling outside the city Ibnita of Eagle be appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission? 2. If not otherwise required by a local (zoning) ordinance, is it necessary for a city council to hold a public hearing when a change in the zoning ordinance is being considered? (The P&Z Commission will have already held a legal public hearing.)
