July 7, 1975
The regular meeting of the Eagle Planning and Zoning
Commission was called to order on July 7, 1975 at 7:30
P. M. by Chairman Cliff Stephenson.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and
ammended as follows: Paragraph 6 Line 3 to read:
" in the mission Court Subdivision to the building inspector
for an inspection and a report"
A letter from Don Brooks concerning the Mitchell
application and Planning and Zoning membership was read
and entered as page i'of the 1975 Planning and Zoning
Minutes.
Jerry Deckard made a motion to recommend to the
City Council that the rezone from R5 to C be granted
to Mr. Mitchell for the Mitchell -Van Auker Mall. Emily
OeShazo seconded the motion.
Jerry Deckard moved to take up Planning and Zoning
Recommendations at the end of the meeting. Emily
DeShazo seconded the motion.
Jerry Deckard made a motion to adopt the proposed
Sign Ordinance and delete Section 3-10 of the existing
City Zoning Ordinance. The motion, died for lack of a
second.
Emily DeShazo is to contact Alan Giltzow and
ask him to serve the commission in an advisory status.
Mayor Adams asked the commission their opinions on
the City of Eagle's membership in A. C. 0. G. Jerry
Deckard questioned whether Eagle had received any help
at all during last years membership recommended withdrawal
from Ada Council of Governments. Chairman Stephenson
suggested the Planning and Zoning members attend the
City Council meeting and make their views known.
Chairman Stephenson advised all commission members to
read the sign ordinance and be prepared to make a
recommendation at the next meeting.
The following membership recommendations are to be
made to the council: Mick Cole, Mike Bideganeta, and
Gary Barnes.

Dear Cliff:
Unfortunately, due to out of town commitments, I
cannot attend the July 7, 1975, meeting of the Eagle Planning
& Zoning Commission. Were I in attendance I would move and/or
support a motion to rezone the land set forth in Mr. Mitchell's
petition from residential to commercial land usage.
I would appreciate the Commission's consideration of
increasing its total membership to the maximum allowable under
the Idaho statutes.
