The regular meeting of the Eagle Planning & Zoning Commission
was called to order by Vice Chairman Doug Mitchell. Members in
attendance were Coon, Tadlock, House, DeChambeau, and
DeShazo. Notification of absence was received from Stephenson
and Giltzow.
Mr. Manley from the Nazarene Church came, but had no formal
presentation to make.
No application for building permit or rezone was received from
Dan Bers. A motion was made and seconded that the City Council
enforce terms of its prior agreement with the propety owner
and investigate the lack of permits.
The Regional Planning letter was tabled until the members
have time to further study the proposals. Members were
directed to read and be familiar with the letter by the next
meeting.
Kathleen DeChambeau volunteered to attend the City Council
Meeting on August 13th.
The point was made that commission members should study the
zoning ordinances more carefully so we are all more
knowledgeable.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 after which the Mayor
brought us up to date on the improvement of 2nd Street. Mr.
Herder and Mr. Venable have signed a Surety Agreement with the
City and will proceed from there.
