Minutes - 1972 - Planning & Zoning - 09/25/1972 - RegularSeptember 25, 1972 PRESENT: Bill Sharp, Lou Mendiola, Mrs. Kathleen DeChambeau, Mrs. Ann Patterson, Mrs. Helen House, W. 0. Bozeman, Gerald Sprute, Mayor Adams. Absent: Wayne Adams, Elmer Baccus Guest: Clifford Stephenson A regular meeting was held by the Planning and Zoning .Commission of the City of Eagle at 7:30 p.m. on September 25, 1972 at the City Hall. The minutes were read and approved as corrected. Mayor Adams asked that this Commission make a recommendation to the Gity Council regarding house numbers for the City and regarding a center point of reference for the numbering. After much discussion Chairman Bill Sharp asked that Mr. Mendiola, Mrs House and Mr. Sprute study both the numbering of houses, including public opinion regarding it, and study the determination of a center point of reference in order to make a recommendation to the Commission at the next meeting. Mr. Sprute moved that we ask the City Council to declare a moratorium on the approval of nPW Subdivisions until a comprehensive plan that will include sewer plan analysis, land use, zoning ordinance, street layout, d adoptign of the most up-to-date Uniform Building Code, has been developed for the area within the projected boundaries of the City of Eagle. Motion seconded by Mrs. Patterson. Motion carried.' Mrs. Patterson will check with the City Clerk regarding the official responsibilities and appointments to the Planning and Zoning Commission to be sure that all decisions have been recorded that assure the selection of this groin to act for the people of Eagle. Mrs. Patterson moved that if Mr. Stephenson's r name has not been properly approved as a member of the Commission that we ask the City Council appoint him. Seconded by Mr. Sprute and Motion Catried. Mr. Sharp appointed Mr. Sprute and Mr. Stephenson to prepare a schedule for this Commission to follow as an agenda to develop the comprehensive plan for the City of Eagle which, hopefully, will provide for completion in six months. Mr. Sprute moved that this Commission meet on the first and third Mondays , of E - October, November, and December. Seconded by Mrs. DeChambeau. Motion Carried. Mr. Sharp asked that the secretary submit in writing the recommendatiyns to the City Council which this Commission has made to be presented by Mayor Adams. Mayor -dams encouraged our attendance to support the recommendations. The Council meeting will be held October 9, 1972, 7:30 p.m. Mr. Bozman moved for adjournment. Motion seconded and carr�,ed.
