The Eagle City Planning and Zoning Committee met
'-?onday April 17, 1972 at the Eagle Library. '"embers
in attendance were: Elmer Bacus, Chairman, Katherine
DeChambeau, Nill Adams, TJ'ayor Adams, Mr. Stevenson,
Lou 'iendiola, and Bill Taylor, Jr.
Citzens representing the Mission Subdivision,
known as the Buchanan Subdivision, appeared before
the committee to protest the building of the Taylor
4-plex being built.
The minutes of the last meeting were approved,
and a public hearing set for "-lay 8th at the Eagle
Library in regard to the rezoning of the Mission Sub.
was announced.
Request was made :by the attending group, that the
Zoning Committee look into the specifications in the
Zoning Ordinance in regard to yard space for tenants,
and sewer regulations, concerning the Buchanan zoning.
A recommendation came from the Eagle'tS
ee !.—,.a, that the Subdivision be restricted to a du-
plex status or one -family dwelling area.
Mayor Adams stated that the City Council could
approve to extend a special conditional use permit
to Bill Taylor for the existing 4-plex. At this time
Bill Taylor requested approval for additional 4-plex
on the ajoinillot.
It was requested that the Zoning Committee define
the boundaries of the City's jurisdiction for Zoning
plans, within. a one mile radius.

The suggestion that house numbers be established
for the city was made by Mayor Adams. He stated that
the Telephone Company, Gas Company and Power Company
repairthen have requested the use of house numbers in
servicing the Eagle City area.

A special meeting was called for Monday April 24th
at 7:30 PM at the Eag3.e Library to further research the
zoning on the Buchanan Subdivision.
