RESOLUTION 5-80
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE tffiYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE,
IDAHO THAT:
WHEREAS the City of Eagle endorses the action of the Idaho
Transporation Department in the State Highway System in Ada
County to route State Highway 55 on I-80 to an interchange
at Eagle Road and I-80 thence North on Highway 55 to Eagle,
thence East on State Highway 44 to Highway 55 North; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Eagle recognizes
that the river crossing is in place and further enhances
a North/South corridor across Ada County in order to facilitate
both emergency and other travel.
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER that the City of Eagle recognizes
the need to remove the traffic pressures from the downtown
Meridian area so that local traffic needs can be met.
NOW BE IT KNOW TO ALL that the City of Eagle wholly
endorses an interchange at the intersection of Eagle Road
and I-80 North ànd further that the City of Eagle does
not at this time endorse any development at this inter-
change.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be in
effect and full force upon its adoPt~~~¿\~
