RESOLUTION
7-83
WHEREAS, Horseshoe Bend Hill road is a 9-mile stretch
located between Spring Valley and Horseshoe Bend on Highway
55, and
WHEREAS, this Road was constructed in 1946, is dangerous,
is undependable, and is the most costly Primary road in Idaho,
and
WHEREAS, a 12-month study by 3 engineering firms and
Idaho Transportation will be completed by December 31, 1983,
now
'l'IIEREFoRE, we the undersigned Mayor and City Council
of Eagle, respectfully urge Governor John V. Evans and the
Idaho Transportation Board Chairman Carl Moore and members,
Lloyd Barron and Roy Stroschein, to proceed without delay,
upon completion of said Study, to select a route, to advertise
for bids, and secure funds for re-construction of this Road.
