RESOLUTION 8-88
A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE INCLUSION OF BANBURY SUBDIVISION,
CITY OF EAGLE, WITHIN THE EAGLE.FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the owners or contract purchasers of all the land
located within the BanBury Subdivision, City of Eagle, State of
Idaho (the legal description of which is in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and made a part hereof), have petitioned the fire
protection board of the Eagle Fire Protection District requesting
annexation of the territory particularly described in said
petition; and
WHEREAS, the land described in said petition lies nearer to
the facilities of the Eagle Fire Protection District than the
facilities of the Meridian Fire Protection District, in which
said land has been located, annexation by the Eagle Fire
Protection District would be in the best interest of the
residents and owners of said land and of the City of Eagle.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, that consent be, and hereby is, given to
the inclusion of said land within the Eagle Fire Protection
District.
