RESOLUTION NO. 7-88
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF EAGLE AND EAGLE SENIOR CITIZENS, INC., FOR THE USE OF
THE EAGLE SENIOR CITIZEN COMMUNITY CENTER; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Eagle Senior Citizens, Inc. ("Senior Citizens"), is
a non-profit corporation created for the benefit of the citizens
of Eagle and surrounding areas, and Senior Citizens desires to
lease a portion of the premises known as the Eagle Senior Citizen
Community Center to be operated as a center for the benefit of the
elderly citizens of Eagle and surrounding areas; and
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle owns the Eagle Senior Citizen
Community Center, Eagle, Idaho; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Eagle deems the operation of a
senior citizens center a worthwhile project intended to satisfy
the needs of the elderly citizens of Eagle and surrounding areas
and desires to lease a portion of the Eagle Senior Citizen
Community Center to Senior Citizens for such purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO:
Section l: That the Lease Agreement between the City of
Eagle and Eagle Senior Citizens, Inc., a copy of which is annexed
hereto and by reference incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute and attest said agreement on behalf of the
City.
Section 3: That any resolution heretofore passed approving a
lease agreement between the City of Eagle and Senior Citizens,
Inc., is hereby repealed.
Section 4: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
