RESOLUTION NO. 6-90
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF A DEED OF RIGHT FOR
PUBLIC RECREATION PURPOSES DEDICATING THE ORVAL KRANSEN PARK TO
OUTDOOR RECREATION USE; AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, on June 26, 1990, Governor Cecil Andrus signed a
proclamation to celebrate the 25th year of the Land and Water
Conservation Fund Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle funded the Orval Kransen Park
with moneys received through the Land and Water Conservation Fund
Program; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of said '25th year anniversary, the
Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation has requested the City
of Eagle to rededicate to exclusive outdoor recreation use the
Orval Kransen Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, that:
Section 1: The Deed of Right for Public Recreation
Purposes, a copy of which, marked Exhibit itA," is attached hereto
and incorporated herein by this reference, is approved.
section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute on behalf of
the City of Eagle the Deed approved in Section 1 above and the.
City Clerk is authorized to attest to the execution of said Deed.
