A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN "EAGLE SECURITY SERVICES AND JOINT POWERS
AGREEMENT" AND AN "EAGLE CITY JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR
PROSECUTION SERVICES," BOTH BETWEEN THE CITY OF EAGLE AND
THE COUNTY OF ADA; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
AND ATTEST THE SAME; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle desires to enter into a contract
with the County of Ada for the performance of law enforcement and
prosecution services.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EAGLE, IDAHO, THAT:
section 1: The City Council hereby approves the "Eagle
Security Services and Joint Powers Agreement" and the "Eagle City
Joint Powers Agreement for Prosecution Services," both between the
City of Eagle and the County of Ada, copies of which agreements are
attached hereto as Exhibit A and Exhibit B, respectively, and are
incorporated herein by this reference, for the provision of law
enforcement services within the City of Eagle and the prosecution
of criminal violations charged as a result thereof.
Section 2: The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and
- City Clerk to execute and. attest, respectively, on behalf of the
. City, the above agreements in substantially the same form as
approved. -
Section 3: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its adoption and approval.
