FOR THE PURPOSE OF MODIFYING THE ADA PLANNING ASSOCIA 11 0 N
ARTICLES OF AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Ada Planning Association was estab]ished in 1977 as a countywide
planning and cooperative organization Providing a forwn for discussion and study of area
problems and facilitating the development of policy, action and recommendations for
solution of such problems; and
WHEREAS, Section 67.2326 - 67-2333 of the Idaho Code specifically authorize cities,
counties and other political subdivisions of the State ofIdaho to perfonn their respective
functions, powers or dnties on a joint basis between or among themselves; and
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle possesses in common with local governments the
responsibility for the general welfare of the public to study, discuss and recommend
policies for the solution of area problems; and has the right to join in mutual association
and expend p"blic funds for these pursuant to Section 67-2326 - 67-2333 of the Idabo
Code; and
WHEREAS, the Ada PJanning Association was created under authority of Section 67-
2326 - 67--2333 of the Idaho Code and the City of Eagle was one of the signatories
thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle now desires to modiry the Ada Planning Association
Articles of Agreement to provide for dissolution of assets of Ada Planning Association in
the case of dissolution of Ada Planning Association.
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City of Eagle does hereby approve the
attached modifications to the Ada Planning Association Articles of Agreement and
authorizes Rick Yzag1Úrre, Mayor of the City of Eagle, to sign the amended Articles of
Agreement on behalf of the City of Eagle.
