A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SERVICE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY
OF EAGLE AND THE IDAHO HUMANE SOCIETY, INC. TO PROVIDE FOR ANIMAL
CONTROL SERVICES IN THE CITY OF EAGLE; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST THE SERVICE AGREEMENT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle desires to provide animal control
services in the community to protect the community's health and
welfare and to assure that animals are maintained consistent with
the provisions of the Eagle City Code; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle recognizes the Idaho Humane Society as
having the necessary qualifications and capabilities to provide a
full range of animal control services to the community; and,
WHEREAS, the Humane Society has provided a program of animal
control and humane services to the community for many years; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EAGLE, IDAHO:
Section 1: That the Service Agreement by and between the City of
Eagle and the Idaho Humane Society, Inc. to provide for animal
control services, a copy of which is attached, marked Exhibit "A",
is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be, and
the same hereby is, approved both as to form and content.
Section 2: That the mayor and City clerk be, and they hereby are,
authorized to execute and attest the Service Agreement on the
behalf of the City of Eagle.
Section 3: That this Resolution shall take
from and after its passage and approval.
