RESOLUTION NO. 99-4
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A DEPUTY CITY CLERK TO PERFORM CERTAIN
DUTIES IN THE ABSENCE OF THE CITY CLERK; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City Clerk of the City of Eagle is occasionally required to be absent
ftom the City of Eagle; and
WHEREAS, During the absence of the City Clerk certain duties ofthe City Clerk as set
forth in the Eagle City Code and Idaho State Code must still be performed; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and City Council of the City of Eagle deem it advisable to
empower a Deputy City Clerk to perform such duties.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, that:
Section 1: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to appoint and swear in
a Deputy City Clerk to perform, during the absence of the City Clerk, those duties ofthe
City Clerk as the Mayor or City Clerk directs him or her, in writing, to perform.
Section 2: This Resolution shall be in effect from and after its passage and approval.
