RESOLUTION NO. 02-05
AUTHORIZING DESTRUCTION OF RECORDS
WHEREAS, Idaho Code Section 50-907 provides that the City Council may classify
records for purposes of retention or disposal of records, and
WHEREAS, On the 12th day of February, 2002, the City Council did approve Resolution
No. 02-04 which sets forth a policy on keeping, storing and destroying of City records,
proceedings and documents,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Eagle,
Idaho, as follows:
1. That the following documents shall be destroyed by shredding under the supervision
of the City Clerk in accordance with Resolution No. 02-04:
Counted ballots, oaths of election judges and clerks, instructions to elector, voter
registration print:'outs, copies of recall petitions, copies of registration cards,
absentee ballots, voted ballots, unused ballots, poll books, and miscellaneous staff
notes and correspondence relating to the elections held on the following dates:
11/8/77 11/8/88
11/6/79 11/7/89
11/3/81 11/5/91
11/24/81 11/2193
3/24/81 8/17/93
11/8/83 11/7/95
11/5/85 11/4/97
11/3/87 5/2197
2. 'The administrative staff of the City, under the supervision of the City Clerk, is
authorized to take all necessary steps to carry out the authorization provided by this
Resolution.
