A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING A GENERAL CITY ELECTION TO BE HELD ON
NOVEMBER 6,2001, DESIGNATING THE POLLING PLACES, DESIGNATING
THE HOURS THE POLES ARE OPEN, AND ORDERING THE CITY CLERK TO
GNE NOTICE OF SUCH ELECTION:
RESOLUTION NO. 01-10
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE,
IDAHO, THAT:
SECTION 1. The general city election will be held in and for the City of Eagle, on the
6th day of November, 2001, at which time there will be elected a Mayor and two Council
Members to serve for a term of four years, or until the election and qualification of their
successors.
SECTION 2. The following are designated as the polling places for such election:
PRECINCT #500: Eagle Senior Citizens Center
312 E. State Street
Eagle, Idaho
PRECINCT #501: ih Day Adventist Church School
538 W. State Street
Eagle, Idaho
SECTION 3. The hours during which the polls shall be open for the purpose of voting in
the General City Election are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
SECTION 4. The Clerk, for and on behalf of the Mayor and Council, shall give public
notice of the time and place of holding such general city election by posting such notice
in three public places or publishing such notice in at least two issues of The Idaho
Statesman, a newspaper printed and published in the City of Boise, Idaho, the first
publication of such notice to be made not less than 45 days previous to the date of such
city election and the last publication not less than 15 days prior to the election; the notice
so published shall state the polling place in each precinct and the hours during which the
polls shall be open for the purpose of voting; said notice to contain such information in
accordance with the requirements of Section 50-436 of the Idaho Code.

2001.
