AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, TITLE 5
POLICE REGULATIONS, ADDING CHAPTER 8 PUBLIC PARKS, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE,
IDAHO, as follows:
Section 1: That Chapter 8, Public Parks, Eagle City Code, shall hereby read
5-8-1: BEHAVIOR:
No person shall violate any rules and regulations for the use of a park, or any of its
facilities, approved by the City Council and duly posted.
5-8-2: ENFORCEMENT:
A. Officials. Police officers or duly authorized representatives of the City of Eagle shall
enforce the provisions of this ordinance.
B. Ejectment. A police officer, or duly authorized representatives of the City of Eagle
shall have the authority to eject from the park any person acting in violation of this
ordinance. Any person ejected from the park shall leave promptly and peaceably and
shall not return to the park for any reason on the same calendar day of his ejectment.
C. Seizure of Property. A police officer shall have the authority to seize and confiscate
any property, thing or devise in the park, or used in violation of this ordinance.
D. Removal of Vehicles. Whenever any police officer finds a vehicle left standing or
parked after closing hours of the park , such officer may provide for the removal of such
vehicle to the nearest available garage or place of safety.
5-8-3 PENALTIES:
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor and punished as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage, approval, and publication as required by law.
