overlay district. The ordinance estab-
lishes general guidelines for the con-
struction, erection dnd maintenance of
buildings and signs within the overlay
district, provides standards for adver-
tising brand name products on signs,
limits the size of signs to a percentage
of the wall on which they are placed
and sets out a forntulafor determining
the. size of individutil Iettel- signs. The
ordinance olio repeals certain provi-
sions relating to individual business
signs and establishes standards for de-
tached pylon• street signs and pole
signs. The ordinance establishes
standards for the illumination of all
signs and requires shopping center
