AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, ENACTING SECTION 4-1-2,
EAGLE CITY CODE, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY CLERK TO ABATE NUISANCES;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE,
IDAHO, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 4-1-2, Eagle City Code, be, and the
same hereby is, enacted, to read as follows:
Section 4-1-2: ABATEMENT OF NUISANCES: If an owner,
owner's agent, or occupant of any lot, building, or premises
upon or in which any nuisance is situated fails to abate such
nuisance within twenty-four (24) hours after having received
notice in accordance with Section 4-1-1 of this Chapter, the
City Council may authorize the City Clerk to take action to
prevent, remove, or abate the nuisance and to levy a special
assessment, as provided in Section 50-1008, Idaho Code, on
the real property where the nuisance is situated to reimburse
the City for the cost of abating the same.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage, approval, and publication.
