AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, AMENDING SECTION
1-11-2 OF THE EAGLE CITY CODE BY DESIGNATING THE IDAHO STATESMAN
AS THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Eagle, Idaho:
SECTION 1. That Section 1-11-2 of the Eagle City Code be,
and the same hereby is, AMENDED to read as follows:
1-11-2: OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER: Pursuant to the provisions
of Section 5-213, Idaho Code, the Valley News• Idaho Statesman is
hereby designated as the official newspaper of the City and such
ordinances, notices and publications as are required by law to be
given publication in a newspaper shall be published in said Idaho
Statesman.
SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY. The provisions of this Ordinance
are hereby declared to be severable and if any provisions of this
ordinance or the application of such provision to any person or
circumstance is declared invalid for any reason, such declaration
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this
ordinance.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become
effective upon its passage, approval and publication in the
manner provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this
day of September, 1988.
