AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF ANY FIREARM, PELLET GUN,
OR AIR GUN WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY EXCEPT IN
LAWFUL DEFENSE OF PERSON OR PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE,
IDAHO, as follows:
Section 1: It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge
a firearm, pellet gun, or air gun within the corporate limits of
the City of Eagle; provided, that this section shall not be
construed to prohibit any officer of the law from discharging a
firearm in the performance of his or her duties, nor to prohibit
any person from discharging a firearm when lawfully defending any
person or property.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage, approval, and publication.
