1. CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 5:30 P.M.
2. ROLL CALL: DECKERS, FAUSTINA, HUFFAKER, IVIE, LEWIS, LOFAS, MORRISON
Absent: Ivie and Lofas
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A. Minutes of February 15, 2024
Commissioner Faustina moved to approve the minutes of February 15, 2024, as written.
Seconded by Commissioner Morrison. ALL AYES... MOTION CARRIES.

6. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Sam Blaine 1505 N. Watson Way Eagle — Here on behalf of the Southwest Idaho Mountain Bike
Association. John Palumbo 3099 E. E. Shadowwolf Dr Eagle — Executive Director for Southwest Idaho
Mountain Bike Association. Sam Blaine presented on SWIMBA which is a volunteer -based organization
focused on Advocacy, Education and Trail Building for mountain bikers.
Commissioner Deckers makes a motion to note support for the project as presented. The city should
work with Avimor and SWIMBA to facilitate the transfer of the 2.6-acre trail head parking lot and
park from Avimor to the City of Eagle. Staff would be instructed to work with Avimor to develop an
MOU for development and maintenance of the 2.6-acre park. We recommend staff have a draft of this
MOU before presenting to city council and staff should work with Avimor to help facilitate the
appropriate easements for this project. Seconded by Vice Chairman Faustina.
Discussion
Commissioner Deckers amends the motion to change the fourth part of that to read for staff to work
with Avimor to help facilitate the trail system easements. Seconded by Vice Chairman Faustina. ALL
AYES ... MOTION CARRIES.
