ORDINANCE NO. 154
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7, CHAPTER LA, SECTION 1, EAGLE CITY
CODE, TO ADOPT THE 1988 UNIFORM BUILDING CODE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE,
IDAHO, that:
Section 1: That Title 7, Chapter 1A, Eagle City Code, be, and
the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
7-1A-1: BUILDING CODE ADOPTED: Those certain documents, three
(3) copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk
and the City, being marked and designated as "Uniform Building
Code", (and "Uniform Building Code Appendix"), 1-9.65 1988 edition,
and the "Uniform Building Code Standards", +9-85 1988 edition,
published by the International Conference of Building officials,
be and the same are hereby adopted as the Code of the City for
regulating the erection, construction, conversion, occupancy,
equipment, use, height, area and maintenance of all buildings or
structures in the City, providing for issuance of permits and
collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the
regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of such "Uniform
Building Code", +98.5-1988 edition, and the "Uniform Building Code
Standards", 49-8-5 1988 edition, published by the International
Conference of Building Officials on file in the office of the
City, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as
if fully set out in this Section. (Ord. 95, 7-9-85)
