Ordinance - 1989 - 158 - Correct Legal Description Of Ord 156 - 12/12/1989ORDINANCE NO. 158 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 156, ADOPTED BY THE EAGLE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR ON OCTOBER 24, 1989, TO CORRECT THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION INCORPORATED THEREIN PURSUANT TO SECTION 2 OF SAID ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, on October 24, 1989, the City Council adopted, and the Mayor approved, Ordinance No. 156, annexing certain real property to the City of Eagle; and WHEREAS, the legal description of the property so annexed requires correction in certain respects, said corrections being of a minor and technical nature, for which no notice or hearing is required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, as follows: Section 1: The legal description of the real property annexed to the City of Eagle pursuant to Section 2 of Ordinance No. 156, adopted by the Eagle City Council and approved by the Mayor on October. 24, 1989, is hereby amended to read as set forth in Exhibit "A" which is annexed hereto and by reference incorporated herein. Section 2: The City Clerk shall cause certified copies of this ordinance to be filed with the offices of the Auditor, Treasurer, and Assessor of Ada County, Idaho, and with the Idaho State Tax Commission, Boise, Idaho. Section 3: Except as specifically amended herein, Ordinance No. 156 is hereby ratified and confirmed in all respects. Section 4: This Ordinance, or a summary thereof in compliance with Section 50-901A, Idaho Code, shall be published once in the official newspaper of the City and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, approval, and publication.
