AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, AMENDING SECTION 6-4-
23, EAGLE CITY CODE, TO INCREASE THE CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEM
FRANCHISE FEES PAID TO THE CITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EAGLE, IDAHO, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 6-4-23, be, and the same hereby is,
amended to read as follows:
6-4-23: PAYMENTS TO THE CITY: Until October 1, 1991, the
Grantee shall pay to the City semi-annually an amount equal to
three percent (3%) of gross income from subscribers residing
within the City. Beginning October 1, 1991, the Grantee shall
pay to the City five percent (5%) of said gross income.
Payments shall be made on or before January 31 and July 31
of each year. The payment due January 31 shall represent
all gross income received from the period July 1 through
December 31, immediately preceding said payment date and the
payment due July 31 shall represent all gross income
received from the period January 1 through June 30,
immediately preceding said payment date.
Section 2: This Ordinance, or a summary thereof in
compliance with Section 50-901A, Idaho Code, shall be
published once in the official newspaper of the City, and
shall take effect immediately up -on its passage, approval,
and publication.
