HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION

APRIL 12, 2023 5:30 P.M.
1. CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order at 5:30 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: Present: MACFARLANE, HEATH, DUNN, D'ANDREA.
A quorum is present.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT:
This time is reserved for the public to address the Historic Preservation Commission regarding concerns or
comments they would like to provide to the Commission regarding any matter, up to and including any subject
on the agenda. Out of courtesy for all who wish to speak, the Commission requests each speaker limit their
comments to three (3) minutes.
4. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
A. Update on the Jackson House Historic Structure Report
Dunn is reporting on the Jackson House Historic Structure Report.
B. Update on the Historic Registry changes
Dunn asks if any other Commissioners have completed their lists and that they need to be
completed by the end of the year to give a full update to the registry.
C. Update on the CLG Grants
Dunn reports that SHPO has not yet given an update on the awarded grants for 2023. The
expected date is summer 2023.
5. NEW BUSINESS:
A. ACTION ITEM: Minutes of January 11, 2023
D'Andrea makes a motion to accept the minutes of January 11, 2023, as presented.
Seconded by MacFarlane. ALL AYE ... MOTION CARRIES.
B. ACTIONITEM: Section 106 Review -Eagle Drain
Dunn explains the historical significance of the Eagle Drain and the current mitigation occurring
between Lock and Bolt and the City of Eagle.
6. REPORTS:
A. Commissioner Reports: Heath requests that sometime this summer to get a tour of the
Jackson House. MacFarlane requests tours of other buildings as well.
B. Museum Manager/Curator Report: The next meeting is scheduled for July 12, 2023, at 5:30
pm.
7. ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, D'Andrea moves to adjourn, seconded by Heath.

The meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
